Alan Freeman was born in Birmingham in 1942 and passed away in June 2004 of Mesophelioma.
A pupil at Mosley Art School between 1955 - 1958 saw Alan graduate with an artistic talent described as “second to none”.
From Mosley, Alan won a scholarship at the famous Slade School of Art in London but turned it down to work as a Commercial Artist in Birmingham. Upon moving to Dorset in the late 60’s, Alan started his own building firm and painting became just a hobby until 1990 when Alan returned to work as a Professional Artist.
In 1998 Alan opened his own Art Gallery and Picture Framing shop and from there works were sold worldwide.
Fine Art Giclee prints of Alan Freeman’s portfolio are now available - sold exclusively by his partner, Hilary.
